Where We Play

Here are some of the venues that we have played at before. We add more all the time so just let us know if you have one not on the map.

Drop-in Events

Try out Archery Attack at one of our drop-in events

We run drop-in events at various locations around Sydney. These sessions provide a great way to play Archery Attack but without needing to bring a group. you can come solo or with a few friends.

During the event we run a quick introduction briefing if it’s the first time you’ve played. Then we kick off the games, we’ve got over 10 different types and the list is growing as we come across new ways to shoot arrows at your new friends!

All the gear you need to play, with unlimited arrows, is included in the price. Just wear some suitable sporty attire and bring some water – arrow based combat is hot work!

Our drop-in sessions are suitable from ages 10 and upwards. Places are limited so make sure you secure your place in advance – you can drop in on the day but priority will be given to pre-booked players.

New venues

We’re always on the lookout for great venues to start more drop-in sessions, if you have one in mind contact us and we can look into hosting an event.

It depends where you get tagged is probably the short answer. Gentleman, you know what we’re talking about…

The impact of arrows is similar to that of a boxing glove. It’s cushioned and makes more of a noise than anything else. A shot from very close range will leave a pink circle but that typically disappears in around 30 minutes.

Comparing arrow tag to paintball – you definitely won’t be left with the painful welts from a close range pellet!

You can play Arrow Tag at your local park, gym, oval, home or work venue (indoors and outdoors). We keep the map up to date with places we’ve played so find if there is a location near you. If you’re stuck for ideas, we can help suggest some places that may suit.

There aren’t many weather conditions that will stop a game or Archery Attack so be dressed appropriately. We recommend closed trainers to protect your toes. If it rains a light weatherproof jacket or alternatively a change of clothes and a towel. When the sun is shining you get pretty hot so suncream and water is essential.

For a 10 bow event we need a nice green patch of grass about 10×20 metres (that’s about the size of a tennis court) and for a 20 bow event about 20×30 metres (approximately a Basketball court).

Each location occasionally holds events where you don’t need a group of 10. Head to the Facebook page of your closest location and subscribe to upcoming events to stay informed of the next event. Alternatively get down to one of our warehouse locations.

All our equipment is custom designed to work safely together. Therefore, only Archery Attack equipment can be used.

Absolutely! We can do a combination booking matched to your requirements.

We are happy to play in all conditions; however, we do respect our customers best interests, if you wish to cancel your event due to unforeseen weather we will happily refund, no deposit will be held.

Across Australia we have a variety of bows available for use, they can physically be lighter or vary in strength, we have had children as young as 4 use our bows right through to adults of any age.

It’s important to reach out to your local operator to see what age bracket they can cater for, as a general rule of thumb ages 9+ will be able to play at any of our locations across Australia and some locations will be able to host younger audiences with youth bows.

Generally speaking for our operators that can host for younger audiences, we find ages 9 and above will find it easier to be involved with coordinated arrow tag activities; however, younger siblings can get involved with parental assistance. Given we have a range of bows, we recommend notifying our operators of the expected age range participating and we will ensure to provide the appropriate equipment.

Not at all, we use the same bows for left or right handed players and you get a chance to get used to the equipment with some (non-human!) target practice at the start of every session.

For private events and parties, a minimum of 10 bows must be paid for.

If you are visiting one of our warehouse locations there is no minimum!

Most definitely, we are currently hosting recurring activities at hundreds of schools, our equipment varies in strength depending on the age group, our arrows have successfully been tested to be safe for operation without face masks; however, as an added precaution face masks are required.
